Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time, school-based contract position in Pontiac, MI for the 20252026 academic year. This opportunity is open to both CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) who meet all local and state certification requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology

Valid Michigan SLP license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship candidates are welcome to apply

Must meet all state and district qualifications for school-based practice
-
Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations for referred students
-
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with the IEP team
-
Provide direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals
-
Document progress and maintain accurate, compliant records
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
-
Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
-
Offer support and resources for classroom-based interventions
